Gift box
You open it, you touch it, and quality no longer needs to be described.
The Parea Sons box is not gift packaging: it is a sample box. We send it to yacht clubs, golf clubs, shipyards and resorts that are considering a supply, because one can write pages about a linen and a square of cloth between the fingers is still more use.
Inside
The cloth, a seam, a button
Three things, and they are the three on which a garment is judged before two hundred are ordered. There is no catalogue inside the box: the catalogue is this site.
The cloth
The four yarns in the range, at their true weight. On a screen an Optical White and a Sand Beige look alike; in the hand they do not, nor from across a room on a person.
A seam
Made the way it is made on the garments: by hand, where it shows. It is the part that separates a garment made from one assembled, and it is also the hardest to show in a photograph.
A button
One of the few parts of a garment that is not linen. You look at it for its weight: a heavy button on a linen knit drags it down, and within a year it shows.
The embroidery
The crest stitched thread on thread, appearing once on the garment. How it is done is in the other room.
How to ask for it
You ask by writing
It has no form of its own: use the supply enquiry form, saying which club or resort you are writing for and how many garments you are considering. A person answers.
Who we send it to
To anyone considering a supply — uniforms, welcome kits, a capsule for a club, a resort, a shipyard, a team. For a single garment it is not needed: the close-up of the yarn is on every product page, and it is the same linen.
Exactly what it holds
Four swatches of cloth, one for each yarn in the range — Optical White, Navy Blue, Sand Beige, Elegant Taupe — and a card with the introduction to the house. There is no sample garment: the box is there to let you feel the linen, and a garment is asked for separately.
